What is a home inspection?
A home inspection is a non-invasive visual examination of a residential dwelling, which is designed to evaluate the
physical condition of the components of the residence. Components may include any combination of mechanical, structural, electrical,
plumbing, or other essential systems or portions of the residence, as identifiied and afreed to by the Client and Inspector,
prior to or during the inspection process.
An inspection will usually take between two to three hours and may recommend further evaluation if problems or symptoms
are discovered. The intent is to assist in evaluation of the overall conditions of the residence in its current and
not future conditions and determint the components that are not performing properly as well as items that are beyond their
useful life and/or unsafe.

What does a home inspection include?
Inspections are intended to provide the client with a better understanding of the conditons of the property as observed
at time of inspection. Summerizes the findings from a visual inspection of the conditions of the Roof to foundation,
inside and out. A home inspection or inspectors do not point out every small problem or defect such as minor cosmetics,
that which doesn't need the aid of a professional.
The home inspection generally includes inspection of:
Roofing Insulation
Exterior Interior
Heating Cooling
Plumbing Electrical
Doors Windows
Fireplace Basement
Crawlspace Foundation
An Inspection also includes an inspection report which shall describe and identify in written format the inspected subjects
of the residence, shall identify material defects observed. Inspection report may contain recommendations regarding conditions
reported or recommendations for correction, monitoring or futher evaluation by professionals.
Residential home inspections should not be confused with a Municipal code inspection, a home appraisal or any kind
of guarantee.
